A Great Day at the Mid Devon Show for Rainbow Heat and Power!

28 July 2014

We had a great day showcasing biomass boilers at the Mid Devon Show in Tiverton on Saturday, despite the incredibly hot weather!

We sponsored several areas of the show, with Rainbow Heat and Power signage displayed in the main ring and car parks.

We also had signage across the Livestock Arena, so thanks to our friends at Ken White Signs for another great job!

The Rainbow Heat and Power marquee had a steady stream of  visitors throughout the day, with a lot of interest in the range of biomass boilers we supply which are suitable for the Domestic and Commercial Renewable Heat Incentive.

We were pleased to be visited by Herman Lindner and his wife Brigitte from the Lindner & Sommerauer biomass boiler manufacturer, who were amazed at the weather being as hot as it was! We really enjoyed their company and they were more than willing to pose for photos.

We also attended the president’s lunch, where we met counsellor Dennis Knowles, the Deputy Mayor of Tiverton, and his wife Pauline. They are pictured below with Hettie Rogers from Rainbow Heat and Power.

Counsellor Gordon Guest, Mayor of Cullompton was also in attendance, with his wife Ann.

Counsellor John Berry, the Chairman of Mid Devon District Council was also in attendance.

Also on our table for lunch were Sir Ian Amory of Knightshayes Estate and Flora Wood, a Partner from Ashford’s Civil Litigation Team.

We were also pleased to catch up with Neil Parrish, MEP and the MP for Honiton and Tiverton and his wife Sue.

So, big thanks to Carolyn Branton, Hazell and Lindsey Rowe, the show organisers for putting on a show that was well attended and which ran very smoothly, despite the extreme heat! We had a great time but were worn out with the heat by the end of the day!
