Rainbow Heat and Power Biomass Boiler’s home town honoured Remembrance Sunday with the annual Remembrance Day Parade through the town on Sunday.

The Parade started in Fore Street and made its way through the streets slowly and respectfully towards St Peter’s Church where a Remembrance Service took place.

Veterans and civilians young and old joined the parade to remember those who gave their lives in World War 1 and all conflicts since. The Service was all the more poignant as this year marks the 100 year anniversary of the start of World War 1.

We were truly moved by the turn out for the Parade and are grateful to the organisers for a putting on a fitting tribute to the fallen in World War 1 and conflicts since. Rainbow Heat and Power are proud to be a local company and have the chance to attend community events like this.

All staff including engineers on site installing our biomass boilers will be observing the 2 minute silence today.

The Poppy is a symbol of Remembrance and hope and we wear ours with pride.
