The warmth of Christmas

24 December 2014

I felt the chill on Christmas Day

All my heating bills now say ‘Pay!’

The chill and rain

My boilers strain

To heat the house, all winter long.

Oh, what wouldn’t I do

To feel warm all through

To leave the cold

Wouldn’t it be gold

To heat the house, all winter long.

Shaking, freezing; it will not stop

Please pass me another cough drop

A cough, a sneeze

Oh how I wish

To heat the house, all winter long.

Then from down the road came a man

With perhaps the most wondrous plan

In my life he came

His only aim

To heat the house, all winter long.

In gratitude I shook his hand

This boiler is certainly grand

To qualify

For R H I

To heat the house, all winter long.

Rainbow helped me reduce

The high gas bills I did produce

It’s understood

Now I use wood

To heat the house, all winter long.
