Rainbow Heat and Power part of the “Power of 3” at NextGen 2014

1 October 2014

Rainbow Heat and Power are located in Tiverton, Devon and has an extensive knowledge of the local area as well as experience supplying and installing biomass boilers nationally.

We have recently supplied one of our partner companies, Wye Valley energy, with a Lindner and Sommerauer SL50kW wood chip biomass boiler at their head office site at Humber Court Farm, Leominster. The installation has enabled Wye Valley Energy to receive RHI payments.

“The Power of 3” - Meet Us At Nextgen

Next week, Rainbow Heat and Power will be joining our partners, Treco Biomass Boilers and Wye Valley Energy at the NextGen show on October 8th and 9th. The event is being held at Stoneleigh Park, in Warwickshire, post code CV8 2LZ. You can find us on stand B30 in the main hall.

The purpose of showcasing our new found partnership as the “Power of 3” is to highlight how, as a partnership, we offer three different brands of biomass boilers; Lindner and Sommerauer, Guntamatic and Effecta. This means that between Rainbow Heat and Power, Treco and Wye Valley Energy we have a biomass boiler solution to suit most commercial, domestic or district heating projects.

Lindner & Sommerauer available from Rainbow Heat and Power and Wye Valley Energy

Lindner & Sommerauer have been manufacturing biomass boilers for over 20 years. Their range includes the SL50/150kW and the SL199/250kW biomass boilers, both of which can burn EN Plus A1 or A2 wood pellets and G30 to G50 wood chips.

All Lindner and Sommerauer biomass boilers are fitted with an electronic touch screen control panel. This gives the boiler’s user access to vital performance information and puts them in control of all key functions such as timers, thermostats, heat outputs and boiler efficiencies. Settings on one boiler can be downloaded by USB and used to configure additional boilers in the manner which works best for the user.

Guntamatic available from Treco and Wye Valley Energy

Guntamatic recently celebrated their 50th anniversary of designing and building biomass boilers. All Guntamatic biomass boilers offer emissions well below the maximum limits, a requirement for the RHI schemes. The biomass boiler range includes; BMK 20-50kW log boiler, Biostar: 12-23kW pellet boiler, Biocom: 30-100kW pellet boiler, Powerchip: 20-100kW wood chip boiler, Powercorn 30-75kW grain and miscanthus boiler and the PRO, a 175-1,000kW wood chip and wood pellet boiler

Effecta available from Rainbow Heat and Power and Wye Valley Energy

The Swedish manufacturer Effecta has designed a range of biomass boilers with the domestic market in mind and they have 3 decades of experience in producing zero carbon technologies. They supply the 25 – 60kW Lambda log boiler and the Komplett III (25-35kW) range of pellet boilers. The Effecta Lambda can be fitted with a system to allow this boiler to burn wood pellets as well as logs. The Komplett III features built-in hot water production and can be fitted without an accumulator tank. Both systems have a physical foot print smaller than most traditional biomass systems, making them perfect for demanding domestic applications, where space is at a premium.

With 3 biomass boiler ranges and working as a partnership, Rainbow Heat and Power, Treco and Wye Valley Energy combined have a  wealth of experience, buying power and a physical presence in key markets both nationally and in the south of England, Mid Wales and the Midlands.

This local presence means rapid response times, reinforced by the comfort of knowing you are in a safe pair of hands, which has the experience to provide a full and high quality design, installation, commissioning and service package.

Check out our case studies which show that by switching to biomass boilers people have saved money on fuel bills, received RHI payments and reduced their carbon dioxide emissions.
