We have recently launched a campaign along with Ivar the Effecta who has sailed all the way from Sweden on his Viking ship to the base in Tiverton, Devon. Seeing as it’s also Ivar’s first time here in the UK, he will be pretty touristy about it, insisting on taking selfies in front of famous landmarks throughout the country. Why don’t you follow his whereabouts and catch him if he’s in a town near you so you can also take a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ snap with the famous li’l Viking.
Although, don’t be fooled by his warm smile; he’s here on a far more serious mission than that. Together, Ivar & Rainbow will be travelling the length and breadth of the UK to meet and welcome local installers to the clan. With our exceptional range of Effecta boilers, we will be your ideal partner with all your domestic biomass installations. We’re on a quest to spread the Effecta warmth.
Effecta is a name synonymous with reliability, innovation, quality, flexibility and superior performance. With over 30 years’ experience, Effecta has entrusted Rainbow Heat & Power to keep the domestic market warm with its wide range of biomass boilers. Rainbow’s unrivalled expertise and product knowledge ensure you have a business partner that will never let you down. Now all that’s left for you to do is to join the Effecta clan as one of our partner companies and be a part of something big.
Doing our bit
To spread our warmth even further, we are delighted to announce that we have chosen Rainbows – the East Midlands’ hospice for children and young people – as our Charity of the Year 2015 and will be working hard to raise funds for such a worthy cause. One of the main challenges that we’ll undertake is the three-peak challenge – with a boiler! Don’t be mistaken when we say ‘boiler’ that we’re in anyway referring to your ordinary household boiler because we’re not. Imagine a typical domestic biomass boiler weighing in at 550lb or 250kg and you’ll begin to understand the sheer scope of the task we’re talking about. We want you to not only join us as partners, but also in this challenge that will help to further raise awareness of Rainbows Children’s Hospice.
The Hospice is dedicated to meeting the needs of the children and young people from the East Midlands who are all affected by life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. Since 1994, Rainbows has opened its doors and hearts to those children and the people who love them most. And now more than ever, they need your help to keep on bringing care and happiness to the children and their families. With your and Ivar’s help, we’ll help play a part in raising awareness and much needed funds to help every single child under Rainbows’ wings.
Ben Bevan, Director of Rainbow Heat & Power, said: “I am proud that we have chosen Rainbows as our charity. Its work is critical to ensuring that seriously ill children and their families are given much-needed emotional and practical support, and we look forward to supporting their activities through fundraising with Ivar, our mascot, over the coming months. It doesn’t matter that they are very much a local charity; we are a UK-wide company and strongly believe in helping make a difference to any area where our partners and clients may be.”
Kate Golding, the Corporate Partnership Manager, added: “We are delighted to have been selected as Rainbow Heat & Power’s Charity of the Year 2015. The support we receive through this partnership will be a great help to us in ensuring that we can offer support to the families who are affected with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions across the East Midlands. We are looking forward to working with the team at Rainbow.”
